Do I Use It Before or After My Light Therapy Treatments?

It depends on whether you are using with a sauna or heat-producing bulb (such as the RubyLux NIR-A Near Infrared Bulb) or an LED-type device.
​
With a sauna or heat-producing bulb, apply the serum and wrap your hair in a towel or put on a sauna cap before beginning your sauna or hot-bulb treatment. Don't forget to keep the serum away from your heat-producing near infrared bulb, as even a drop of the liquid could cause a hot bulb to immediately shatter.
​
With an LED type device or bulb, there is no need to protect your hair or scalp from heat, so applying the serum after the treatment is the cleanest and easiest way to use it.

Can I Use It More Than One Way?
​
Yes! If you routinely do both sauna and LED light therapy treatments, you can use the serum before your sauna treatments as well as after your LED LLLT treatments. You can also use it as a hair heat and split-ends protectant after washing your hair even if you just used it on your scalp before washing your hair.

Why Does the Bottle Come with Two Caps AND a Rubber Sealing Plug?

You need all three of these pieces to properly seal the bottle. The reason is that the dropper cap DOES NOT SEAL. To keep the serum from leaking out, use the rubber plug and then screw on the flat black cap.
